Discovery Path provides flexible, personalised alternative provision for young people aged 10 to 20 who may benefit from a more individual approach to learning, development and support. Exceptions may be considered depending on a young person’s individual circumstances, support requirements and appropriate risk assessments.

Our qualified and experienced staff work to understand each young person’s strengths, interests, goals and support needs, using these insights to develop a programme that is meaningful, achievable and suited to the individual.

We work collaboratively with families, schools, local authorities and other professionals to agree a realistic programme of activities and support. This joined-up approach helps ensure that provision is appropriate to the young person and aligned with their wider support plan and personal development goals.

Discovery Path does not describe its provision as a school placement or full-time education. Instead, each programme is agreed as part of an individual support package, providing flexibility to respond to the needs, circumstances and progress of each young person.
